Guided tour

During the tour at the Adomas Galdikas Museum, visitors learn about the work and life of the famous 20th-century Lithuanian artist Adomas Galdikas, as well as the exhibition of his artworks displayed in the museum. In addition to the art exhibition, visitors are also introduced to the historic building on Arklių Street, whose architecture and restored details reveal its rich past. This tour offers an opportunity not only to discover art, but also to experience an authentic historical atmosphere.

Guided tours at the Adomas Galdikas Museum are conducted in Lithuanian. If you would like to book a guided tour in English, this can be arranged in advance by registering via email at info@galdikomuziejus.lt. Please note that independent visits to the museum are not available.

Educational art workshop

During the educational art workshop, participants become familiar with the exhibition of Adomas Galdikas’ works displayed in the museum. After viewing the exhibition, the educational art workshop session takes place. The activity provides an opportunity to explore the artist’s work, art history and different stylistic directions. Participants actively create, develop their creativity and imagination and express their emotions through art. The activity helps improve self-reflection, relax and spend meaningful time in the museum.

During the educational art workshop, participants have the opportunity to watch unique archival video material about the artist’s life and work. In the session of educational art workshop, accompanied by meditative sounds, participants create their own individual artwork. They work in a freely chosen style, expressing their personal emotions through colour. During the activity, participants explore how individual emotions influence creativity through their own artworks. The creative process helps to relax, immerse in their subconscious and access inner resources and potential.

During the activity:

  • aesthetic awareness is developed;
  • participants learn that there are no strict categories of “beautiful” or “ugly,” only free creativity and interpretation;
  • knowledge of art is developed;
  • understanding of art history is expanded;
  • participants become familiar with Adomas Galdikas’ work;
  • creativity and visual thinking are encouraged;
  • the ability to manage stress increases, while physical and emotional tension and anxiety decrease.

Space Rental

An inspiring, subtly luxurious historical museum space (200 sq. m) located in the heart of Vilnius Old Town is available for your meetings, conferences and events.

The museum premises are equipped with a digital touch screen, an integrated computer and a conference table accommodating up to 11 people.

During the rental period, guests will be offered tea, coffee and nuts.
